mash potatoes which is yummylicious

Try adding 1/2 teaspoon baking powder to the potatoes, milk, and butter. Let it sit a few minutes before serving. 
sometimes if I have a lot of people I cook for I add a whole teaspoon , and then mix and then put it in the microwave for a minute and it is so fluffy and nom nom 

my friend Teresa Goddard tried this and she said she will never make it any other way , she is one of my biggest supporters :) 

Basil Pesto potatoes

This is so yummy I just had to share this recipe , nom nom potatoes

par boil potatoes but do keep the skin on and slice in thin but not to thin slices , the skin is so much tastier in this recipe and it really is good for you and no mess no fuss .

then put them in a oven proof dish that was rubbed with butter

Add the pesto over the potatoes and then add the pesto sauce and then the parmesan and then the depitted olives and add little knobs of butter inbetween as well , salt and pepper to taste .

grate a little bit of fat free Edam cheese or any chedder over the top and then bake in the oven till it looks okay to eat 
this is when it comes out of the oven , oh my it was so yummy 


I made chicken breasts with it with a green salad , was so good and the onions is baby pickled onions which I just soaked in a bit of white vinegar and salt after I cut them into thin slices and circles , after a while they are so good with this plate of food as they taste just like pickled onions , oh my , tasty

killer meatballs

Incredible Baked Meatballs. 1lb minced meat, 2 eggs, beaten with 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan , 1 cupbread crumbs, 1 small onion, minced, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon salt, freshly ground pepper to taste, 1/4 cup minced fresh basil Mix all ingredients with hands. Form into golfball sized meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Tasia and Haylee's fishcakes to die for , seriously


 you will die of nom noms when you eat these fishcakes , oh my goodness, to die for , really !

One onion  chopped fine 
2 eggs 
2 teaspoons of vinegar, or lemon juice 
salt and pepper to taste 
two tins of Saldanha middle cut 
pick and pay has them 
4 slices of bread you have to wet it with a little bit of water x

make in balls and fry in little bit of oil till golden brown

enjoy x

1 eetlepel  asyn
sout en peper
2 x blikkies vis middelcut  (saldanha - blikkie) - pick & pay 
brood fyn gemaal / maak bietjie nat met water xxxxx

meng alles en dan braai in olie

cous cous salad

above you will see an amazingly tasty salad , it is so yummy and full of goodness you wont believe how awesome this taste and today when I was making dinner I wanted to make an awesome salad i have not done before .

two teaspoons of lemon juice ,
quarter cup of cooked couscous
chop a few fresh spinach leaves very fine
quarter of cucumber
one tomato
half a packet of bacon that is crispy and no fat
salt and pepper to taste

it was so yummy , we had it with crumbed chicken breast and steamed fresh veggies , photo will follow

broccoli stems , bacon and sweet pepper pasta dish

 fry bacon crispy
broccoli stems , or if you do not have that , buy normal broccoli , the stems are even tastier and nicer than asparagus , no bitter taste and so yummy
 cook pasta and then make a normal white sauce and then add pepper and salt to taste , do not forget if you have a balsamic reduction to use a hint of that , even mrs balls chutney two teaspoons will enhance the bacon and make it sticky and sweet and yummy , enjoy this is an amazing recipe xx


end result with thin creamy white sauce with pepper and salt , yummy x
